Rules

Hello everyone. Now I'm going to post 1 article a day until Thursday because that is the deadline of my work. You know my work, right? The one that is given by Mr. Deeto. Probably don't because it's an Indonesian language post. But, the task is to create blog and post 15 article in it. You can post more, but there must be 15 post and that 15 post must be the same theme. My theme is to discuss something that is bothering in my life. I call it the truth of life because it is the truth of my life. And I hope you guys have the same perspective. Now on to the topic.

Let's talk about rules. In life, there are many rules. In my "Mastering the Game of Life" post, I imagine myself in the game that is my life. And games must have rules. Rules are everywhere and every time strict us. Every moment in our life is based by the rules. And by the way, what is rules? Rules are like laws, something that organize our actions. Rules are made by leaders of a group, either president or just a school principal. Rules are made by group members agreement.

Rules are made for every one's sake. Without rules, we are in big trouble, because everyone will do as please. No one knows what is right and what is wrong. Everyone will act as they please, not thinking the consequences of the actions. That is what rules for too, punish someone that has done something wrong. The punishment are needed so the person that makes the mistake realize that he/she is wrong and not doing that mistake again.

There is something that bothers me. It is an expression that is made by people when they don't want to obey rules which is "Rules are made to be broken". I completely disagree, because rules are made to organize actions. Rules aren't made to be broken, but made to be obeyed. Rules are also made to discipline us. Without rules, we will be slacking every time.

Rules are divided to two forms, must, can and mustn't. In rules, there is something you must do, like "Wear uniforms on Monday". And also there is mustn't, like "No food allowed". And me myself prefers the can rules. Why? It doesn't strict us. It's up to you, like the "Wear shirts and jeans'. maybe it strict us on the shirt and jeans, but we can wear whatever shirt and jeans we want. Either the color, the writing, the brand of the shirts and jeans are free to choose. It also make us enjoy our life.

Every moment in our life is rules. When we in school, we take test. The rules are like no cheating, use pens, test finished in 60 minutes and many more. There are rules everywhere. But remember this, sometimes breaking the rules are the only answer. Example, you know something about the corruption that is made by the government. You have the proof but there is no law that supports you. The only thing that you can do is to make the corruption bigger. You have to, or the corruption will get bigger itself and nothing can stop it. So you make your friend in government corrupt. And in the end of the day, the police think our proof is enough. These type of rules breaking are used in Police undercover, but they are protected by the law.

What do you guys think? What is rules? Why do we need to obey rules? Is rules are made to be broken? It's your life, you decide.
